The origin of our name Divine Initiative Ministries (DIM) is based on the Jewish Exodus from Egypt to Israel. Our logo is of Moses holding his staff as he parts the Red Sea, so his followers could continue their life journey to the promised land. DIM will serve, as Moses did, to guide our students through their life journey, so they can find the same divine initiative which God ordained Moses with to free his people, and our target population will reach their full potential.

There is an urgent need to help those in our local community who have, or are recovering from, a drug addiction, and face financial and social hardship because they are having a difficult time securing sustainable employment and safe housing. DIM will offer professional training, education, networking, mentoring, outreach, and personal development opportunities to disadvantaged male adults, to help them regain control over their lives and become employed and stay gainfully employed.

Charles Tumazos, the founder of DIM and its Managing Member, moved to Florida from New Jersey in 2008, due to his own drug addiction. By the grace of God, a forgiving family, and a new community who welcomed and embraced him, Mr. Tumazos was able to survive, part his Red Sea and continue his life journey to prosperity and contentment. He earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Tumazos has established strong professional relationships internationally in Information Technology, Commodities Production Investment, and the Pharmaceutical/Medical industries. Mr. Tumazos resides in Delray Beach, Florida and serves on numerous civic organizations.
